Spark models are essentially serially produced hand built kits. They are mostly produced in quite small production runs of hundreds, rather than thousands of piece. When we started the business we essentially took what had been the, largely European, cottage industry of resin and white metal, small-run, hand built models to China where skilled workers could continue a craft at far more affordable prices than the boutique European producers
